Does it include pricing for VPS?
No. You will be billed on a monthly basis from DigitalOcean for VPS hosting.
Does it include pricing for Cloudflare?
Yes. We are going to use the basic protection from CloudFlare which is free.
Does it include price for Domain?
No, you will have to purchase a domain from NameCheap etc or you can opt to get a low-tier domain (.ga , .tk , .ml , .cf , .gq) for one month for free.
How long does the whole process take?
It all depends on the implementation. DNS update usually takes around 4-8 hours but it can go upto a maximum of 12 hours. We have to do that twice (once for DigitalOcean and a second time for CloudFlare) so around 12-18 hours is a safe bet.
Is it scalable?
Digital Ocean allows you to scale your application depending on which "GEO-location" you are targeting. They can effectively make it more reachable for an audience in a different continent.
