Hallo, ich bin Andy! Ich korrigiere dein Manuskript und klopfe es gründlich ab auf Rechtschreibung, Grammatik und Zeichensetzung. Doch nicht nur das: Fallen mir beim Lesen deines Textes etwa Unstimmigkeiten wie z. B. Wortwiederholungen auf, weise ich dich darauf hin und gebe dir auch immer eine Hilfestellung. Dabei obliegt es stets dir, ob du meine Vorschläge annehmen möchtest.
Die Bearbeitung erfolgt in Microsoft Word mit aktiviertem "Änderungen nachverfolgen", damit du immer genau im Blick hast, wo ich welchen Fehler korrigiert habe. Meine Anmerkungen schreibe ich dir in die Kommentarspalte, damit dein Text unberührt bleibt.
Mit meiner langjährigen Erfahrung im Lektorieren und Korrekturlesen von deutschsprachigen Romanen, Magazinen, Websites und Spieletexten garantiere ich dir eine qualitativ hochwertige Arbeit. Dein Manuskript und deine Bedürfnisse stehen für mich immer im Vordergrund.

How does the proofreading process work?
You send me your manuscript, and I’ll proofread it for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. Once I finish the proofreading, I’ll send the corrected version back to you. You can then review the changes and let me know if you have any questions or need further adjustments.
Will my document remain confidential?
Confidentiality is my top priority, and I handle all client documents with the highest level of privacy. Your manuscript will not be shared with anyone.
What are the benefits of proofreading?
Proofreading ensures that your text is free of spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. It not only improves readability but also gives your manuscript a more professional appearance, which is especially important if you plan to publish it.
Do you proofread all genres?
Yes. I proofread novels of all genres, including fantasy, thriller, romance, science fiction, historical fiction, and more. I also work on other types of texts, such as magazines, game texts, and similar content. Explicit material is fine, but I do not accept extremist or hate-inciting content.
Do you proofread both German and English texts?
I only proofread German texts, as I am not a native English speaker.
How long does the proofreading process take?
The turnaround time depends on the length of your manuscript (around 2 to 4 days). If you have a specific deadline to meet, just contact me, and we’ll find a solution!
Which file formats do you accept?
I prefer .docx files (Microsoft Word) as I use the "Track Changes" feature for corrections. If you have a different format, please contact me beforehand.
