Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the various equipment comprising the node, such as radio equipment, routers, switches, Nokia FSMF, ABIO, ABIA, ABIL, ASIB, RF modules, power plants, and ODFs. My duties also included ensuring mobile access network availability across different technologies (2G, 3G, LTE, 5G) in the northern area of Buenos Aires. Key responsibilities included: Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on site telecommunications equipment. Troubleshooting and resolving faults across site equipment to guarantee the availability of 2G, 3G, LTE and 5G networks. Creating, testing, and maintaining external alarms for site equipment (power plants, battery banks, cabinets, power distribution panels, among others). Installing, configuring, and maintaining power plants, primarily from brands such as Eaton, Eltek, Emerson, Delta, and ZTE. Keeping the SAP inventory system up to date for equipment installed across assigned sites. Installing and commissioning transmission equipment, including Nokia IXRe, SAR-X, SAR-M, and SAR-A units, Nokia switches, and Nokia IDUs. Ensuring the proper condition of fiber optics and ODFs at sites to prevent service degradation or ring network outages. Maintaining cell tower autonomy during power outages by conducting periodic testing on site battery banks. Performing electrical maintenance on site equipment, such as power plants, Nokia FPFHs, electrical panels, and battery banks. Managing contractors for high-altitude work, including replacing RF modules, fiber optic cables, damaged wiring, RETs, and antennas (replacement or repair). Managing civil works contractors to maintain optimal conditions across site grounds.
