As a Python Backend Developer, I build secure, scalable, and production-ready backend applications using modern Python technologies. My primary focus is FastAPI, where I develop high-performance REST APIs with clean architecture, maintainable code, and industry best practices. I have hands-on experience developing backend systems using FastAPI, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Redis, and Celery. Beyond API development, I implement Redis caching to improve performance and Celery with Redis for background task processing, such as asynchronous email notifications and long-running jobs. I apply database optimization techniques including indexing, eager loading, and efficient query design to improve application performance. My deployment experience includes configuring Nginx as a reverse proxy, running FastAPI with Gunicorn/Uvicorn, deploying applications on Ubuntu VPS, connecting custom domains, enabling SSL/HTTPS, and automating deployments with GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines. I also integrate monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, implement centralized logging, API security with CORS, secure headers, permission layers, and rate limiting to build reliable production-ready services.
