How I work matters more than the stack. Before building anything I tell you what the platform can and can't do, what the trade-offs are, and what it will cost you later. I have talked clients out of apps that would have charged them a monthly fee they didn't need, and told them their site was fine when they expected me to find a problem. If something can't be done the way you imagined it, you will hear that from me before you pay for it, not after.

Shopify App Developer — Custom Apps & Integrations

When a store needs something Shopify has no native answer for, I build the app instead of installing one. - Custom Shopify apps on Remix, running on the merchant's own store - Third-party API integrations, including a laboratory system: the customer activates a test kit from their account, results come back over a secure API, and the app matches each result to the right customer with nobody touching it - PDFs generated from live store data — branded test reports for customers, and product specification sheets built on demand from product fields - Automated notifications, using custom events to trigger Klaviyo flows - Price synchronisation between two storefronts in different currencies, converting on current exchange rates with per-product rules the merchant controls - Bulk data work, including generating SKUs across catalogues of hundreds of products The reason to build rather than install is control. No monthly fee for something used once a week, no feature you cannot change, and no dependency on whether someone else keeps their app alive.

Shopify Developer — Ecommerce

Shopify development, mostly at the complicated end of it. - Multi-market and multi-currency storefronts running across separate domains and subfolders, with the market and language switching logic built by hand - Bilingual stores, French/English and Italian/English, including keeping the customer on the same page when they switch language - Custom product templates: quote-only and enquiry flows for products not sold at a fixed price, and bundle builders that let a customer assemble a set for one fixed price with live validation - Market-level product and collection restrictions, for stores that cannot sell everything everywhere - Predictive search extended to match SKU codes, for catalogues where buyers arrive knowing the part number - Shopify Flow automations for fulfilment and daily operations - Payment, financing and third-party app integrations - Theme migrations, and consolidating years of accumulated custom code so that updates stop breaking things - GA4 and Google Tag Manager rebuilt from scratch with real event tracking The hard part of ecommerce isn't building the store. It's making it behave correctly once it sells in more than one country, currency and language. That's where the time actually goes, and it's the part that breaks quietly when it's done wrong.
