RESPONSIBILITIES ○ Designed and implemented a server and database monitoring application to optimize the department’s daily operations. ○ Led the implementation of a Python API aimed at collecting data from the company’s servers and databases. ○ Worked extensively with Microsoft SQL Server and DB2 to efficiently manage and analyze large datasets. ○ Collaborated with the Data Management team to improve database performance. ○ Implemented a series of SQL scripts to automate processes executed through SQL Server Jobs. ● KEY ACHIEVEMENTS ○ Thanks to the monitoring application, we reduced the time spent on daily tasks by at least 70%, measuring task execution times with and without the application to validate the improvement. ○ Increased the performance of some of the most frequently used queries by 25%, optimizing database response times. ○ With the implementation of SQL Server Jobs, redirected error messages to SQL tables for monitoring purposes. ○ Upon completing my time at GCO, I received recognition from the entire team for my outstanding performance, which resulted in an offer to sign a professional employment contract and continue collaborating with the organization.
