As the creator of the original lyrics and/or melody, I retain my portion of the Composition Copyright. This is a professional partnership where we both own our contribution to the composition, ensuring a fair compensation for both our creative efforts.

This extra is a licensing fee that gives you legal permission to use my composition commercially (streaming, sales, etc.). It formalizes our agreement for a standard 50/50 split on all future songwriting royalties. It's a fair deal that ensures we both benefit if the song is a hit!

The split only applies to the songwriter royalties (generated by the lyrics and melody from streaming platforms and radio). You retain 100% of the Master Recording rights (your final track). We simply share the success of the composition.
