Sobre mim
I'm Ahmad, a filmmaker and director based in Karachi, running my studio (acv.pictures). I studied directing at Karachi Film School. My focus is observational documentary: real people, real situations, no forced narrative. My film The Gatekeeper was selected and mentioned at the Black & Brown Femme Film Festival. I've also worked in the AD department on a national Nestlé campaign (via Ogilvy), and I direct and edit UGC ads for brands. Two worlds, slow documentary work and fast commercial editing, same instinct underneath: pay attention, cut what doesn't matter, let what's real come through.
