What format are your backups for new hosting?
Your WordPress files will be delivered in the ZIP file format. Your Database files will be compressed as a ".SQL.ZIP" file.
How do I know volume of my website?
You can ask your hosting provider or login to your cPanel. On the lower right hand side, it should tell you how large your site is. If you're hosting multiple sites in one hosting that number may be larger than the size of your single site.
What if my website is larger than 10GB, can you still backup or migrate it?
Yes! I can do it easily. So we can discuss about it.
I have my own backup so can you restore it from my files?
Maybe, as long as your backup was completed correctly, and it hasn't been too long. Please reach out to me and I'll discuss your options.
Will there be any downtime?
For backups, none at all. For site migration, there may be a few minutes for downtime, but it varies based on site. Please reach out to me and we can discuss your needs.
My site isn't working correctly can it be migrated?
Yes, there may be some additional costs to fix before it can be migrated, but please reach out so we can discuss your situation.
What are included in the migration?
This gig & above charge is for 1 WordPress site. Only files & database will be migrated. Email migration charge is different & additional & is different for each hosting. Contact me prior making an order. I can only migrate the whole site. Only posts or products migration will not be possible.
Are Emails included in migration?
No only website migration is included as part of gig. If you still want email migration please ask before you place the order so I can quote accordingly.
Please explain the conditions for the backup and migration charges
The above backup and migration charge is only for hostings that have cpanel. For hostings without panel, price is higher. Contact me prior making an order.
From which hosting can you migrate?
I have performed migration for sites hosted in Godaddy, Namecheap, Bluehost, Hostgator, Wpengine, One.com, Siteground, Dreamhost, Digital Ocean etc. The above backup and migration charge is only for hostings that have cpanel. Charge for Managed WordPress and other hosting plans is higher.
