My name is Aghogho Edafe, and I started freelancing after noticing a common challenge in the writing world: many talented authors have strong manuscripts, but struggle to get their work noticed in the publishing industry. Over time, I’ve worked with writers who have spent months or even years developing their stories, yet still face questions like: Which literary agents are right for my book? Why are my submissions being rejected? How do I present my manuscript professionally? I quickly realized the issue is often not the writing itself, but how it is positioned and presented to the right audience. This insight led me to focus on literary agent research, book proposal development, query letter writing, and synopsis creation. I studied publishing expectations, agent preferences across genres, and how successful submissions are structured to stand out in a competitive space. As a freelancer, I’ve supported authors at different stages, from early ideas to completed manuscripts ready for submission. My goal in every project is to help writers present their work more clearly, confidently, and professionally.
