Do I need to share my GitHub or Cloudflare passwords?
Never share your personal passwords. For GitHub, I provide a short step-by-step video so you can connect it to Dokploy yourself in seconds, or you can grant temporary collaborator access and revoke it once finished. For backups, I only need scoped bucket API keys.
How will I access my server once passwords and root login are disabled?
I generate a dedicated SSH key pair for your new administrative user and deliver the keys ready to use, along with simple instructions so you can connect securely from your computer right away.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Just a fresh Ubuntu VPS with initial root access. If your package includes backups, custom domains, or app deployment, you will also need a domain name and a Cloudflare R2 or S3 bucket.
Does the app deployment include migrating my existing database data?
The Premium package includes setting up your application containers, environment variables, and initializing clean database services in Dokploy. It does not include importing legacy database dumps or migrating historical data.
Which VPS providers and specs do you recommend?
Any KVM VPS running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS with at least 2 vCPUs and 4GB RAM works great. Providers like Hetzner, Contabo, DigitalOcean, Linode, or AWS EC2 are fully compatible.
