I work independently with authors, creators, brands, and creative teams to develop original characters for children's books, comics, animation, branding, and digital projects. My work combines character storytelling, visual development, expressive posing, and consistent design so characters remain recognizable across different views, scenes, and applications. My core expertise includes children's book character design, cartoon character development, character turnarounds, model sheets, expression sheets, reference sheets, mascot design, comic characters, superhero concepts, and illustration. For children's publishing, I develop memorable characters with clear personalities, appealing silhouettes, expressive faces, and designs that can remain visually consistent throughout a story. I can develop both human and animal characters and adapt designs to the tone and audience of the project. For production-focused projects, I create structured character references including front, back, side, three-quarter views, expressions, poses, clothing details, accessories, color information, and other visual notes required for consistent reproduction. I also develop cartoon and mascot characters for creators, brands, products, educational projects, and social media. For comic and superhero projects, I focus on distinctive silhouettes, costume concepts, personalities, abilities, poses, and visual details that support storytelling. My workflow emphasizes communication, reference accuracy, clean construction, character consistency, organized presentation, and attention to detail. I work from client briefs, written descriptions, sketches, and visual references while developing artwork tailored to the intended use.
