Operational Resilience: • Setting up and running small working groups in order to identify and document the people, processes, technology, facilities, and information which are critical to the delivery of our important business services. • Performing in-depth analysis on business reports, MI and existing metrics to identify, evaluate and articulate themes, risks and opportunities to improve business service resilience. • Develop scenario tests to identify areas for improvement. • Working with the Operational Resilience Manager to plan and support exercises, such as incident simulation. • Taking ownership and further developing the Operational Resilience reporting dashboard which is prepared for the Operational Resilience Steering Committee and other governing forums. • Keeping the Operational Resilience Manager up to date on progress as well as findings from all operational resilience related activities and acting as deputy when required. Business Continuity: • Work closely with the Operational Resilience & Risk Manager as well as leadership on significant projects which affect PBS’ resiliency of critical business processes and important business services. • Responsible for supporting the administration of PBS’ business continuity management programme including: o Ensuring that business continuity programme components are current, effective, and address business requirements. o Developing schedules and materials for training / awareness activities to ensure that business continuity teams / coordinators are suitably trained and proficient in implementing practices across their respective business areas. o Coordinating exercises / tests o Administering and managing content on our business continuity site. o Managing emergency communications with employees and, administering emergency communications where necessary. o Supporting business continuity related initiatives and activities including recovery site selection, strategy development, in-house training, etc.
