If you do it in Excel or Word every week by hand, a script can probably do it in minutes once, correctly, and the same way every time.
I'm a full-stack engineer (founder of an AI robotics startup, 100+ published technical articles) who builds practical automation for office file work. This gig is not data entry it's removing the repetitive task itself.

- Excel: VBA macros and automated reports; cleaning messy data (duplicates, inconsistent formats, split/merge columns); merging many sheets/files into one master file; turning raw exports into formatted, print-ready reports

- Python scripts: web scraping into Excel/CSV; PDF to Excel conversion; batch file conversion, renaming, and reorganization; any repetitive file processing you can describe with an example

Which file formats do you support?
Excel (.xlsx, .xlsm, .xls, .csv), Word (.docx, .doc), PDF, TXT, and JSON are all fine. Google Sheets work too if you can export to .xlsx/.csv. For unusual formats (.ods, .numbers, database exports), message me with a sample first and I'll confirm.
My file is huge — or a complete mess. Can you still help?
Usually yes; messy, inconsistent files are exactly what scripts are good at, and large files are handled programmatically rather than row by row. Send a sample (partial or anonymized is fine) before ordering — if the structure varies so much that it needs a custom scope, I'll tell you upfront.
Do you do data entry?
No — I don't offer manual typing or copy-paste data entry. But if your "data entry" follows a pattern (pulling fields from documents, reformatting, moving data between files), a script can do it faster and without typos, and that's exactly what this gig covers.
Are my files confidential?
Your files are used only to complete your order — never shared, published, or reused. If your data is sensitive, anonymized or sample files are enough for me to build and test the automation. I'm also happy to delete all working copies after delivery on request.

Quite possibly — the rule of thumb is: if you can show me an input file and an example of the output you want, I can tell you within one message whether a script can do it and which package fits. Message me before ordering and you'll get an honest yes/no, not a sales pitch.
