I am a professional comic artist/mangaka with more than long years of experience.

In my experience, a lot of people prefer the black-and-white look of manga since the crosshatch intricacies and line art are still apparent. Some people, however, also like full-color photos over black-and-white or grayscale ones for a variety of reasons, or simply because they choose to.

I tried creating a full-color manga based on those facts, but I made sure the line art and crosshatch details were not overpowered by the colors.
