Dear Customer,
Following a consultation with you, I can begin programming the CNC milling program. To get started, I will need your 3D drawings, preferably provided in STEP format, together with an indication of which features or positions require critical or less critical machining operations.
It would also be helpful to know which machines you use to manufacture these workpieces. Information regarding your available cutting tools and preferred cutting parameters would also be valuable. Otherwise, I will use standard parameters, which may potentially result in machining conflicts or require subsequent adjustments.
I would also appreciate knowing which file formats your machines can read and which program naming conventions or file names are permitted.
Naturally, any necessary modifications to existing programs can also be made following consultation.

Which languages can be generated?
By default, I provide G-code, but for TNC (Heidenhain)-controlled machines, I can refer to the required TNC version.
What about cutting tools?
I prefer to have the exact tool names and specifications for all cutting tools. This allows me to use the correct cutting parameters and provide you with the fastest and most accurate service.
How do I know how to set up and measure my workpiece?
I will provide you with all the necessary information through screenshots, including the current positioning and how the workpiece should be measured.
Which software do you use to create the CNC milling programs?
I use Fusion 360 as my standard programming software, as it is the environment I trust and work with most extensively. I use a licensed version that allows me to customise the post-processors according to your specific requirements.
What is your experience in machining?
I work full-time on a 5-axis Hartford machining centre, manufacturing a wide variety of workpieces on a daily basis. Further details about my experience can be provided upon request. I also work daily with 3-axis milling machines.

All drawings and CNC programs remain strictly confidential and are never shared with third parties. Upon completion of the project, all files are permanently deleted and are no longer retained.
