When a new company is started or a new product is launched, Excel sheets are the most popular choice for prototyping functions and doing some quick calculations. As time passes, more and more functions are added and the tool tends to get bigger and slower.
Time for a change. Python scripts offer a very readable way of defining the functions and separating data and function. More often than not a Python script will be much faster and more flexible.
Having done this over and over again during the last 10 years, I am offering my expertice to you.
I will take your spreadsheets and convert them to Python scripts. Not just any random script, but a real tool, which can be used in production. In order to work well, it is important, that you can tell me exactly which inputs, outputs and functions you will need.

As an engineer, I constantly have to develop tailored tools for me and other engineers. This involves numerical models and simulations as well as simple daily helpers, which might backup your data or aggregate data from various sources.
Oftentimes, an Excel template exists and my job is, to convert this tool to a Python application.
Database integration is a big part of the job, not only to store data, but also to make a graphical user interface (GUI) more flexible.
