Want n8n running on your own server instead of paying for the cloud plan? I install it on your VPS with Docker, a database, your domain and HTTPS, and I check that webhooks work before I hand it over.
You get the server ready to use plus a short written guide for updates and backups, so you do not need me again.
What you get, by package:
- Basic: n8n with Postgres, or Coolify, in Docker on your subdomain with free SSL and a firewall
- Standard: nightly offsite backups, a restore test, SMTP email, hardening and a safe update script
- Premium: health and backup alerts, a written runbook, a 30-min call and 14 days of follow-up
Your encryption key and admin access stay with you. Everything runs on your server and your provider account.
Safe access: you add my temporary SSH key to a non-root sudo user, and it is removed at handover. I never ask for passwords in chat.
This gig is installation only. I do not host n8n for you, and building workflows is a separate custom offer. Not affiliated with n8n GmbH or Coolify.

Can you host n8n for me on your own server?
No. This gig installs n8n on a server you own and pay for. n8n's Sustainable Use License allows me to set up and maintain n8n on your infrastructure, not to sell hosting. If you plan to resell n8n access to your own customers, check n8n's license first.
n8n or Coolify, which one do I need?
n8n if you want workflow automation (like Zapier or Make, on your server). Coolify if you want your own small platform to deploy apps, databases and tools from Git. If you want both, there is an extra, and n8n can run as a Coolify service.
What VPS size do I need?
n8n with Postgres runs on 2 GB RAM for most small teams. Coolify needs more, at least 2 CPU cores and 2 GB RAM, and more if you deploy several apps. Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Vultr, Hostinger and Contabo all work.
Will you need my passwords?
No. I never ask for passwords in chat. You add my temporary public SSH key to a non-root sudo user. You create your own n8n or Coolify admin account. The temporary user and key are removed at handover.
Why Postgres instead of the default SQLite?
Postgres handles many executions and concurrent webhooks better, and it is easier to back up and restore while n8n is running. It is the setup n8n recommends for production self-hosting.
Do you build workflows too?
Not in this gig. Premium imports up to 10 workflows you already have. Building new workflows is a separate custom offer, so message me with what you want to automate.
What happens if the server breaks later?
You have backups, a restore test and (in Premium) a runbook. I do not provide ongoing hosting or on-call support. Message me for a custom offer.
