Something is broken and you need it working today. I fix it, and I tell you what actually caused it.
Most bug gigs patch the symptom and hand it back. That holds until the same bug returns somewhere else. I find the root cause first, fix that, then check nothing else broke on the way.

What counts as one bug?
One specific broken behaviour that you can describe and I can reproduce. For example, "the contact form does not send" is one bug. "The site feels slow" is not a bug, that's an audit, and it's covered by the Premium package.
What if you cannot fix it?
Message me with the error before you order and I'll look first. If I don't think I can fix it, I'll tell you and you keep your money. I'd rather turn a job down than fail one.
Do you need access to my code?
Yes. A GitHub or GitLab repository is easiest, and a zip file works too. If you have a staging environment where I can reproduce the bug, that speeds things up a lot.
Will your fix break something else?
That's exactly what I check before delivering. If your project has tests, I run them. If it doesn't, I test the affected flows by hand and tell you what I checked.
Can you fix code that someone else wrote?
Yes, that's most of this work. I read the code first and follow the conventions already there, so your project stays consistent instead of turning into two styles mixed together.
Do you work with WordPress or PHP?
No. I work with JavaScript and TypeScript: React, Next.js, Node.js and Express. Pointing you to someone who actually knows WordPress is better for both of us.
