We're looking for a strategic and visionary Director of SEO/GEO to lead our global organic growth initiatives. This role is critical for establishing a clear strategic direction, mentoring our talented SEO team, and fostering seamless cross-functional alignment. You'll be instrumental in driving Fiverr's organic search performance and shaping the future of search experiences on our platform.

What am I going to do?

Lead, mentor, and empower the SEO team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development through a new mentorship framework.
Develop and implement a foundational strategy for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), focusing on AI-driven search visibility.
Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Content teams to drive cohesive organic growth strategies.
Establish and oversee comprehensive performance reporting mechanisms for organic growth, delivering insights to executive leadership.
Manage the SEO budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to maximize impact and ROI.

Nice to have

Familiarity with marketplace dynamics and the unique SEO challenges and opportunities they present.
Experience specifically within the Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) space, including AI-driven search visibility strategies.
Experience managing departmental budgets and optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.

Working with AI

This role will leverage AI tools to enhance strategic analysis, identify optimization opportunities, and streamline reporting processes. You will be at the forefront of exploring and implementing AI solutions for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to maximize search visibility within evolving AI-driven search landscapes. However, critical strategic decision-making, team leadership, and complex cross-functional communication will remain human-led.
